Jack's new tricks.

See Jack.

See Jack reach.

See Jack rock.

See Jack sit.

See Jack scoot off.

See Jack climb...

and climb!

My oh my.  We have only just begun!

"dada"

well buddy, no matter how much we ask you to say "dada"  you will not say it.  But it's becoming quite clear,  you are his BIGGEST littlest fan . . .

Happy Baptism Day!

Jack Anthony!

Yesterday was such a fun day!  We got up and were able to make it to the 9 am Mass at our church!.  I think you were pretty happy to be there, you only made really loud happy noises.
I think many enjoyed (or I hope they did).

You fell asleep while I (mama) tried to find a cupcake shop that was open.  No luck on a Monday morning, but I think we came up with a better idea. Pumpkin cupcakes to celebrate your special day!   We made more than we needed to, so mama decided to go share them with your Gramps (your godfather :) ) and your daddy at their offices.

We went on to run some other errands to finish up some shopping for your trick or treating costume :) and when Daddy got off work we went out to dinner!

We pray for your relationship with Christ to only grow and strengthen every year.  May your goal here on earth be to know Him, love Him and serve Him!   We love you buddy and are so blessed to have you as our sweet little man.

your first chore . . .

who knew how much you would love this.

it was actually all your idea jack.  a few "uh uh uh" and pointing to maudie's cup we were pretty sure you knew what that cup was for.   we gave you the cup and you knew just where to go.

maudie has actually given you a few kisses as well.
yep, it's that cute.

it has become our favorite part of the day.

the little pieces they pick up ...

Jack, today was a day of little moments I'll never forget.
You woke up from your rather long nap, so I put you in your high chair and got your lunch ready for you.  You were very eager to eat as always and started munching right away.  However, when I sat down to join you, you put your hands together.

Oh my goodness yes, we forgot to pray!

Watching you fold your hands to pray buddy has been the sweetest thing we've ever seen.  The fact that you will try and "pray" almost every time you get in your high chair just makes us smile.  Lately you are starting to show us your "prayer" hands all on your own when you find a crucifix or cross, or even any holy card or picture.   How you know this already is just crazy, but I guess you are picking up the tiny pieces of what we are trying to instill in our little family.

You were a little concerned today about me taking pictures while praying though.
