My oh my.  We have only just begun!

"dada"

well buddy, no matter how much we ask you to say "dada"  you will not say it.  But it's becoming quite clear,  you are his BIGGEST littlest fan . . .   

bath time update

why not?  because its a place where you are happy in one small spot. 

 you can play and mama can play with her camera.

you still love every bit of your bath.  

sometimes we can get really loud.

sometimes we splash a bit too much.

we always hear a giggle or two.

and you let us know when you are ready to get out.

you still let me wrap you up and carry you out, all cheesy smiles.

if only we could figure out how to happily dress you....

busy fall days...

jack, you buddy have kept us busy in your 13th month.

but of course we love every bit of it!

you are showing such a silly personality these days.  you are climbing around like crazy on anything and everything...  stopping to dance where ever you please at the beat of anything.  you are really intense when you are looking for something you want.  you are getting a little sleepy in the evening with the approaching time change almost to the point of delirious. 

we had a busy month of october but a fun one.

we enjoyed dressing you up with friends to get you a free lunch.

( really it was a great excuse to get pics of you in an extra costume we had) 

                                                then the excitement of "trick or treating" night.

oh my charlie brown, you did NOT get any rocks.

 

i don't know who enjoyed it more, you or daddy.  

what we will remember most was how silly you got going in and out of the house that night.  we had the door open most of the night and boy did you love that freedom!

you got a little thirsty after your first few pieces of candy.

you survived pictures with us,  with a smile!

you ran your hardest outside with daddy at the end of the night.

and showed your amazement for your "boons" the neighbors gave you.

we're looking forward to see how you react next year!

Happy Baptism Day!

Jack Anthony!

Yesterday was such a fun day!  We got up and were able to make it to the 9 am Mass at our church!.  I think you were pretty happy to be there, you only made really loud happy noises. 

I think many enjoyed (or I hope they did).

You fell asleep while I (mama) tried to find a cupcake shop that was open.  No luck on a Monday morning, but I think we came up with a better idea. Pumpkin cupcakes to celebrate your special day!   We made more than we needed to, so mama decided to go share them with your Gramps (your godfather :) ) and your daddy at their offices.

We went on to run some other errands to finish up some shopping for your trick or treating costume :) and when Daddy got off work we went out to dinner!

We pray for your relationship with Christ to only grow and strengthen every year.  May your goal here on earth be to know Him, love Him and serve Him!   We love you buddy and are so blessed to have you as our sweet little man.
