lets play catch up!

oh my I guess having a one year old keeps me a little busier these days.
time to play catch up with some great pics from the past few weeks.
you have been loving our neighborhood park.

before the big first birthday, we had much needed visits with grandparents and a little family get away to the river walk.

you've been a little excited obsessed with footballs lately.  you have quite the growing collection.

we have enjoyed this month so much!  so much time with family and reminiscing on how much our lives have changed in just a short year!   every day just gets better and better!

walk for life

We were so excited to join with friends and family for the Coalition for Life's "Walk for Life" this year.   We toured the Pregnancy Help "Mobile" Center, it was so awesome to see how many lives have been saved there!  

The weather was just beautiful for the walk. 

 Jack you enjoyed it so much you fell asleep! :)

eleven months

sweet boy...is growing into being a big boy!

you are very much still a baby. well, we will hang on to that as much as we can.

today i was thinking how i'm already a little behind on blogging about you at eleven months. oddly enough, today was a day that i just caught myself stunned with you...constantly telling daddy
 "oh my goodness can you believe he's doing this/that?!?"

jack, at eleven months, you are keeping us busy!

and we are very much in love with that.

and tonight after i cleaned up your toys in the living room, you got on your blanket and pillow and with a silly grin waited for me to get you ready for bed!  that was a first for sure, and a sign that you are getting to be such a big boy!

we are so excited to celebrate your first birthday in a few weeks.  it is amazing how you have made this year just fly by! so for this month we will be soaking up every bit of you as an eleven month old!

so long sweet summer....

well almost, i don't know why we say it's the end of summer. you definitely can still feel it in this heat.

but i guess what really matters is... no more splashing in the pool :(

we were able to enjoy a little bit of it this summer at your cousins.

 you enjoyed some summer reading...

as well as trying to drink the pool water.

 of course end of summer also means dada's birthday!  we tried our best at spoiling him,  i think it worked!  

the saturday before his birthday, you stayed with your nana and papaw at the house.  daddy and i had a nice, quiet mass and dinner together.  

(unfortunately, we were in such a hurry to sneak out this was the only picture we got from that evening. : / )

on his actual birthday we gathered with friends and family to celebrate!

we made him a homemade favorite ~german chocolate cake~

he got lots of cards and goodies.

you have made this last year so special for your daddy!  especially on his birthday!

now we're looking forward to the fall weather with you little man.

it looks like the "weather" part may be a while.
